The Community Foundation of New Jersey and the Todd Ouida Children's Foundation have made $10,000 grants to support the Zippy's Friends program of the Youth Consultation Service and the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program to provide duffel bags to children in foster care. The Ouida Foundation, created by Todd's family and friends to honor the victim of the 9/11 attacks, was instrumental in bringing the international school-based Zippy's Friends program to the United States. Zippy's Friends helps kindergarten and first-grade children develop coping and social skills.
